DESCRIPTION:Join us on the 22nd of June 2017 for a workshop on Pedagogical Orientation\nPrivate Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) are faced with a unique dilemma in that they need to remain on the cutting edge of knowledge transference with regard to their area of subject expertise (Arts\, design\, commerce\, humanities\, etc.); but also need to ensure that they adhere to best practices in Teaching and Learning. What takes precedent then\, ensuring that course content remains relevant and current; or ensuring the pedagogical practices employed remains effective? And\, why do PHEIs need to choose? \nStudent Experience Management\, in partnership with Beula Park Academy\, devised a series of One-day Pedagogical Orientation workshops that aims to provide PHEIs with a means to expose under or unqualified lecturing staff to the fundamentals of teaching and learning.
